Fosters
One way you can help the animals, and reduce the euthanasia rate in the shelter is by fostering a dog or cat who has been surrendered to us. A home environment will help the animals get more socialization and be more adoptable. Fostering is very rewarding and challenging, and all approved expenses are covered by the shelter or the Humane Society. You provide the love.
All foster animals receive their vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, and checked for heartworms prior to being placed in a foster home.

Feral and Free-Roaming Cats
If you are feeding feral or free roaming cats, the O'Malley Alley Cat Organization can help you by loaning traps and providing low or no cost spay/neuter assistance. Contact us at (936) 556-2754 or email feralaristocat@yahoo.com.

Our dogs and cats have a wish list. First and foremost is their own loving home. Other things that can help make their stay with us more pleasant are:
Kong toys, paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent, Dawn dish soap, spray bottles, holiday and seasonal decorations, dog and cat shampoo, grooming supplies, dog and cat toys, blankets and towels, Advantage, Frontline, Capstar or Revolution for any size dog/cat.
***NEW*** Ask us how you can donate towards a "seconds" Kong toy order! We can order Kongs for our dogs at discounted prices but we must have an order of $50 or more.
