C.A.R.E., for the Animals
C.A.R.E. was formed by a group of community minded people living in Nacogdoches and surrounding areas who are interested in furthering the health and wellbeing of animals in this target area.
Mission Statement:
"To support, guide, and educate citizens in the Nacogdoches Community about animal welfare issues for the betterment of domestic and free roaming animals in this area by making available education, spay and neuter assistance, adoption opportunities and vaccination clinics."
Working together, we address issues of animal overpopulation pertaining to Nacogdoches, state-wide legislation and ordinances, as well as other concerns as they pertain to the quality of life of animals in our area. Together we pool our ideas, volunteers and resources to provide much needed support to our local animal shelter.
